I am pleased to be writing this letter in support of Helms and Associates. I have served the City of Aberdeen on the Airport Board since 1997. During that time, we have been involved in and undertaken numerous projects including the reconstruction of our main runway, 13/31 as well as extending and resurfacing our crosswind runway 17/35, construction of a new $6.7 million terminal building, construction of new ingress and egress roads, parking lots, fencing in the entire airport property, rehabilitation of several taxiways, and construction of private hangers among other projects. Terry Helms and his associates have directed and watched over projects totaling well over $30,000,000 during the past several years

I've always found Terry Helms, and Helms and Associates to be professional, extremely knowledgeable, always available for consultation services, prompt with responses and above all, I can't think of a project that came in over budget. The interaction of Helms and Associates with the FAA, the State of South Dakota and local governments has been one of the key factors in Aberdeen being able to acquire monies and accomplish these numerous projects. During these few years, Aberdeen has had 4 different airport managers. Terry Helms was a stabilizing factor with all these construction projects during the seemingly endless searches for new Airport Managers and kept these projects on track for completion.

In my experiences with the Aberdeen Airport, having Helms and Associates on board has been an asset to our community. Their knowledge of Federal Regulations and State Regulations, their expertise in engineering practices and their experience with our airport and numerous other airports across the region make them a real plus for any organization.
